QiGong The Art of Self Healing

Healing

Qi can be described as “life force” or "vital energy", and Gong "time and effort". Qi Gong is a way to cultivate and enjoy vital energy and enhance quality of life. Qigong reminds us how to relax, release our illness, and charge ourselves with the universal life force that is all around, just as plants and animals readily absorb energy from earth and the sky.
QiGong is like acupuncture in motion - gentle movements and meditative postures free the flow of Qi through meridians to release causes of pain and illness. Qigong exercises strengthen the body and mind, increase vital energy and helping to prolong life. With sincere practice of Qi Gong you will heal yourself, be able to help heal others, and release your potential to merge with the infinite.

History
Among the many styles of Qigong, Zhineng (Tszu-nen) Qigong, also known as Wisdom Qigong or ChiLel™, is one of the most powerful. Translated literally, Zhineng Qigong means "Cultivating Intelligent Energy".
Zhineng Qigong was created by Dr. Pang Ming, an extraordinarily powerful Qigong Grandmaster, who combined his profound knowledge of Chinese medicine with modern science, to revive the ancient Chinese internal cultivation of Qigong as a healing art as well as a modern science for body-mind. Dr. Pang was also one of the pioneer grandmasters to first unravel the Qigong enigma to the general public. He founded the largest medicine-less hospital in China, where Zhineng Qigong was used to study mind-body science as applied to self-healing. Master Dr. Pang was much loved and respected as a compassionate, wise and powerful Qigong teacher.

Exercises

Wall Squats

Regular wall squatting will quickly enhance the power and depth of your qigong. Begin gradually increasing to a minimum of fifteen minutes daily practice. Your health and vital energy will quickly improve.

Qi Stretching
Qi stretching spreads healing qi throughout the whole body, benefits heart and lungs, relaxes tones and strengthens. When beginning practice there may be pain and soreness especially around the neck and shoulders, palms and forearms. As the channels clear and qi moves more freely, discomfort will decrease and be replaced with a feeling of elation.

Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down
The Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down set of movements is an excellent method to improve health and ward of disease. Open and close movements and mental visualisation, serve to promote the flow and  release of inner Qi and unite with the practitioner with the external primeval hunyuan qi. It is also an effective means to gather Universal Qi. With sincere training one is able to learn how to administer external Qi to treat patients.

Three Centres Merge
Three centres merge standing meditation to facilitate strong cultivation, and absorption of external qi within one self. It bridges the gap between the external Hunyuan qi of the lift LQUPQD, and the internal Hunyuan practice.

La Qi-Qwan Qi-Pushing and Pulling Qi
This is an external healing method derived from the LQUPQD. It directly utilises the essence of the LQUPQD to treat others and the self. It is the basis of external qi gong therapy.

Body mind method
Advanced Qi Gong form includes postures and movements to uniting body and mind and heals chronic ailments.

Five elements method and healing sounds
